Philadelphia, PA, April 18, 2007 -- The Judge Group today announced
that it has created the Impact Study, an assessment tool to help
companies evaluate their contingent workforce management spending
to determine if the dollars they spend are creating the results
they want. Martin E. Judge, Jr., Chief Executive Officer of the
Judge Group, a leading provider in contract, permanent, and
project-based staffing solutions, stated: "Many of our clients,
from small start-ups to billion dollar corporations were interested
in assessing the way they spend their staffing dollars. The Judge Group,
under the leadership of Jeffrey Hebert in our StaffingLogic division,
created and launched a tool to serve those organizations by assessing
the clients' utilization of contingent workers and the effectiveness
of the dollars those clients are spending. The intent was to help
clients maximize effectiveness and increase cost savings. We believe
this product is one of the few ways a company can obtain an unbiased
reading of workforce management performance."
Jeffrey Hebert, Vice President of The Judge Group's StaffingLogic division,
describes the company's new product as "a comprehensive assessment of an
organization's contingent workforce management practices, its results, and
reasons for the results. The Impact Study examines spending, workplace security,
vendor compliance, and overall business performance and makes the link between
business practices and business results." Hebert discussed a recent Impact Study
where the lack of compliance controls was attributed to a company overspending
for contract labor by 16%. "Had controls been in place to bring pricing discrepancies
to light, the client would have spent up to $2.5 million less last year -- without
any other changes to the nature or degree of contract labor usage." Hebert says
that it's not too surprising that small pricing discrepancies can get through
undetected, especially when companies are juggling a large contingent workforce.
"Sometimes the differences are barely discernible, but even small costs add up
when aggregated. Those costs are completely avoidable when the right practices
and tools are in place."
